Hank’s Response:

What a great question and one that we are often asked. The quick response to your question is yes, absolutely you can.

Your recruiter will work with you to find the right fit, location, culture, and area of interest to make your assignment a great success for both you and the facility at which you will work.

We understand that some people prefer to travel more broadly and see the sites. If that is something you want to do, we can certainly accommodate your needs. Many times, people want to travel and experience new cultures and locations, and grow in their clinical experiences.

However, at the same time we also recognize that some people prefer to remain close to home. This might be for a variety of reasons. Maybe you have a personal family obligation, childcare issues or simply want to be near your loved ones.

Whatever your desires are, we want to assist you in finding the best placement possible. You need to feel comfortable and satisfied with your assignment; this is why it is so important for you to be open and honest with your recruiter as we connect you to one that is perfect for you.

I want to also mention that we understand that life events occur that may require us to be closer to home to assist during those difficult times in life with family, parents and children.

You are a part of the Cross Country Healthcare family and we will do everything we can to help you and assist you in any and all transitions in life. Please let us know how we can help you and remove any stressors in life.

Always remember the words of Florence Nightingale: “I attribute my success to this – I never gave or took any excuse.”
