Recently, the American Hospital Association (AHA) launched a campaign to address vaccine hesitation and add credibility to COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

First, the AHA, together with the American Medical Association (AMA) and American Nurses Association (ANA), released a joint public service announcement urging the American public to “ask questions, follow the science and get vaccinated.” The PSA features AHA Board Chair Rod Hochman, M.D., president and CEO of Providence, as well as chairs from the other groups.

Additionally, the AHA released a second PSA featuring a diverse cross-section of people discussing how they reached their own conclusions about the vaccines and launched a supporting website meant to educate consumers about the vaccine. The AHA encourages hospitals and health systems to use the content and add their own branding, if desired.

Cross Country Healthcare supports the AHA’s position regarding vaccines and its related educational campaign. For more details about the AHA’s PSAs and other available COVID-19 vaccine resources, please visit the AHA Special Bulletin webpage.

Cross Country Healthcare recommends that all healthcare professionals watch the PSA below and consider being vaccinated.
