Rachel Crighton, an Emergency
Department nurse, found travel nursing to be an ideal way to
see the country and work in different Emergency settings around
the country. Over the course of three years, Rachel worked in
seven different locations until she was ready to take on yet
another professional challenge. Rachel is now working in one

For Robin Thomas, travel nursing was a great escape from the cold and dreary winters of Ohio. Just four weeks after she contacted Cross Country TravCorps she was working in sunny California. For Robin, the hardest thing about travel nursing was getting started and heading off on her own but the flexibility of a travel nursing career made up for that quickly. After five years of travel nursing, Robin was ready for something new. Once again she looked to Cross Country TravCorps, only this time for a corporate position. Nursing has been Leann Harper's
destiny for as long as she can remember. It gave her an outlet
to help people and in the long run presented her with many opportunities,
one being travel nursing. Ten years ago she came to the United
States seeking different experiences. In her 3 years of travel
she was able to see 6 states and work in facilities that added
some new skills to her resume. Leann was very impressed with
the work Cross Country TravCorps did to make sure that as a
Canadian, all of her immigration and licensure paperwork was

Julie is a Medical-Surgical nurse who traveled by herself for three years. The main reasons she started traveling were to enjoy the flexibility it gave her, and to meet new people. She wanted to get started as soon as possible, and took her first assignment with only a year of experience under her belt. Travel nursing was a confidence booster for her.
